The high lights of decisions taken during first GB meeting;
1)Job for the jobless engineers
a)All companies registered with PEC have been requested to complete the engineers strength submitted at the time of registration and resubmit engineers data to PEC with in 30 days.
b)HR committee formed which will identify vacant seats in Public departments and pursue them for the immediate recruitment of engineers.
c)HR committee will contact with international companies hiring the human resource to creat jobs for Pakistani engineers.
d)A portal at PEC web site will be developed to receive CV from Jobless engineers and updates their data.
e)Complimentary registration for one year will be given to fresh engineer to encourage and facilitate him to get job.
f)the life subscription fee reduced from Rs 2000/ to Rs 1000/ (inclusive of all arrears) up to October 15,2015 to encourage engineers who have not renewed themselves todate with PEC.
2)PEC GB appeals to the government to appoint engineering head of engineering department immediately.
3)Engineers foundation will be registered with SECP to run welfare projects for the engineers.The feasibility to run 1000MW generation project on NLG will be prepared.
4)"System Reforms and implementation committee"developed to monitor PEC process related to registration,accreditation etc and give recommendation for improvement to the relevant committees.
5)"Service structure for engineers".A committee formed to put up draft with in 45days for onward submission.
6)"Young Engineers Development "Committee formed for their permanent role on each level in PEC.
7)Election reform committee formed to develop e election system for 2018.
8)Chairman announced that he will not draw any money from PEC in any shape during his tenure.
